![November 7, 2024 - For what may have been the Summit Girls Varsity Soccer team's final home game of the season, the Lady Hilltoppers finished in style with an impressive 1-0 victory over Millburn High School and, in so doing, punched their ticket to the semifinal round of NJSIAA Tournament.
Senior Parker Febo continued her playoff run of scoring for the Hilltoppers, scoring the only goal of the match in the first half of play off of a nice assist from senior Maggie Space. From there, senior captain Valentina Moretti led a shutdown defensive effort against the Millburn attack, with strong support from seniors Caroline Relf and Ellie Hicks, junior Kelsey March, sophomore Sofia Serbian, and sophomore goalie Ava Hogan.
Summit's semifinal opponent is Middletown South (at their field) on 11/11 at 4pm.
